About

Old Albumsides is a limited engagement project performing a classic vinyl album side, with only one or two scheduled shows for each side.
Why do we do this? #
Performing an album side provides an immersion into the artistic vision of the creator. Art is temporal, and each album reflects the context and emotions of its time. A crash course presents a great challenge for musicians to expand their artistic vocabulary and develop a wider appreciation for the nuances that make the album special.
Audiences discover new aspects of a classic album they may have missed. Together we establish a deeper relationship with the music, experiencing the side without interruption. We meditate on both the hits and the in-between tracks that might have been overlooked. This is a rare chance to hear the music performed live again, including tracks that may have been rarely or never performed. Let us capture a moment in history and feel the energy and passion of the music.
